Carol leads the People & Culture team where she is responsible for all facets of human resources and organizational effectiveness. The functions she oversees include talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, labor relations, employee communications, HR policy, and performance management.
With over 25 years of experience in the global semiconductor and software industries, including two start-ups, Carol is recognized for her ability to create and evangelize great team cultures that maximize the potential of all employees. She has a successful track record of building teams globally, developing and evolving systems to improve employee and organizational efficiency and ensuring the companies that she supports become the most impactful, effective workplaces as they scale.
Prior to joining Compeat, Carol served most recently as Vice President, People & Culture for Revionics, a SaaS-based pricing, promotion, markdown and space solutions company for retailers, where the team was recognized as a Top Workplace in Austin. Before joining Revionics, she held the position of VP, Human Resources for Tilera, a semiconductor start-up company based in San Jose, CA. Carol spent the majority of her career at Motorola’s Semiconductor Sector where she held a variety of positions in human resources, including an overseas assignment in East Kilbride, Scotland.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Austin HR Technology Round Table, and several networking meet-up groups throughout Austin. She resides in the Texas hill country town of Dripping Springs with her husband, daughter and mother. A self-proclaimed foodie, Carol spends her time outside of work trying out the variety of amazing Austin-area restaurants. She and her husband enjoy sailing, spending time with their family and watching amazing sunset views from their hilltop home while sipping great wine.
