How to delegate like a BADASS with Thad and Jess Kittrell

Compeat customers Thad and Jess Kittrell of 101 Beer Kitchen sat down to talk with Eric Cacciatore of Restaurant Unstoppable.  In the podcast, the couple details how they turned their vision of owning a brew pub into a successful 3 location reality – and some of the wisdom they gathered along the way.

They contributes their success to attention to detail and careful planning.  Compeat is so proud that they have chosen us to help them with both!

When Eric asks them “What’s one piece of technology you’ve adopted in your restaurant and how has it influence operations and efficiencies?” Thad responds “We have been very adamant since we opened that everything on our menu, we know what it costs. So, we started this process of looking for a system that would better manage that, and better manage inventory, update our costs, etc., etc.”

Since 101 Beer Garden changes their menu seasonally, “the amount of data we were accumulating in a short amount of time was becoming overwhelming and we needed something to help them with that” states Thad. After a year of researching various systems, they decided to partner with Compeat.  “Not only did we get the recipes, we got an easier system to get invoices through to track what products are coming in and out of our restaurant. That ties to our POS system and also, as a bonus, it has a whole accounting system on top of it, so we were able to move away from (accounting software) and move into Compeat completely.”

Cheers to your continued success Thad and Jess!
