Payroll Employees

In Compeat, you can manage employees for a specific restaurant or for all your restaurants by choosing the appropriate item from the Payroll menu. Both screens work in the same manner, with each tab of information applying to the particular employee listed at the top of the screen.

Employees - General Tab

This is where you enter information about each employee and their job. The top half of the screen is contact information and the bottom half defines the basic terms of the employee's position.

Departments Tab

This is where you specify each employee's department(s). You can designated multiple departments for any employee, including one as the employee's "home" department. This is also where you specify an employee pay rate that differs from the department norm.

Vacations / Sick Day Tab

The Vacation / Sick Pay tab is where you can keep track of, in detail, each employee's accrual of time benefits.
