Director of Customer Services
We are recruiting a Director of Customer Services. Our Customer Service Director will be responsible for overseeing all of our software installation, training, and ongoing support (Help Desk) processes and managing the people that work at these functions. Customer success and satisfaction with our systems is the ultimate objective. Our Director of Customer Services will report directly to our President and CEO.
Primary Job Functions:
- Oversee Software Implementation and Training - We are anxious to refine and improve our implementation and training processes and materials. Installing reasonably sophisticated cost control and accounting systems in restaurant operations is challenging. We have many customer implementations going on currently. We currently have two full time installation/training staff and this team will be growing.
- Oversee Software Support and Help Desk - we are also anxious to refine and improve our help desk processes. We operate a 5 day per week by 10 hours per day Help Desk for our customers. We currently have 5 full time help desk staff and this team will be growing.
- Ensure Customer Success and Satisfaction - we need to proactively help our customers succeed with our systems. We are very anxious to help them implement our solutions as completely and swiftly as possible and to be able to get swift resolution to any challenges they incur while implementing or in the ongoing use of our systems. Their success is our success.
- Manage the Service Team - we desire to expand, educate, motivate, and reward our implementation and support teams. The Director of Customer Services will manage one of our largest and most important teams.
- Work with the Executive Team ¬- our Director of Customer Services will be a member of our Executive Team.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- 10 or more years of customer service experience.
- 5 or more years of customer service experience with software systems.
- Software Implementation and Support (Help Desk) experience is required.
- Accounting system experience is a plus.
- Restaurant experience is a plus.
- Computer proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Willingness to take initiative and work in a smaller company environment.

Customer Support Consultant
The Customer Support Consultant is a help desk position that provides application and technical support to our customers. Support includes training new customers and on-going support for existing customers in the use of Compeat software. No travel is associated with this position.
This is a great opportunity for a person who has accounting systems or bookkeeping experience, and general knowledge of PCs.
Though not a requirement, the ideal candidate would have experience with a product such as GreatPlains, MAS90, Accpac, Solomon, Quickbooks, Peachtree or other similar system, preferably in a restaurant environment.
Restaurant management experience would be beneficial.
The candidate must:

- have excellent problem solving skills
- enjoy working with people and have patience with customers
- show initiative
- be articulate and be able to explain concepts in a clear and concise manner
- have excellent communication skills

Payroll Application Specialist
This candidate must have demonstrated experience in all areas of multi-state payroll preparation and processing, preferably in a tipped environment. HR knowledge is a plus.
This person will provide quality assurance on Compeat Payroll software as well as influence development of the product.
The candidate will understand the challenges of multi-state payroll processing, unemployment, garnishment, tips, tip credit, Forms 941, 8027, 8846, and W2.
In addition, the candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively.
